2020 was an outstanding vintage. Olivier Leflaive is a benchmark producer and “Le Pierres” is a high quality vineyard in Chassagne Montrachet to be classified Premier Cru in the coming years. This wine has it all. This wine has been aged 17 months in 100% oak barrels, of which 20% are new. The nose displays complex aromas of orange blossom, fleshy nectarine and candied lemon, grilled almonds too. The palate is intensely concentrated, rich and generous, all this balanced by a racy, mineral acidity.
