James Suckling – Darker fruit on the nose with walnut, spice box, incense and espresso bean, too. Medium-bodied, firm and structured with polished tannins and a creamy, compact mid-palate. Quality dark oak spice throughout. Long and rich. Better from 2024.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – An icon wine of Tuscany, the Fèlsina 2019 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia (with 48,000 bottles made) is distinguished by its special aromatic fingerprint that truly brings us to a sense of place. At its heart, the wine reveals dark fruit and plum. More interesting, however, are the dusty mineral sensations that give so much texture and depth to the Rancia. These aromas can only be found in Sangiovese from the galestro and alberese-rich soils of Chianti Classico. This vintage follows up with sweet tobacco, toasted chestnut and scorched earth. Give this wine more time to flesh out and evolve in the bottle.

World Wine – This is one of the most remarkable champagnes I have ever tasted. Quite a deep pink, it is almost impossibly perfumed - like a really good red burgundy, with forest fruit and spice aromas - and is intense, elegant, entrancing, crisp, juicy and endless in the mouth. Wow! Max Allen, The Weekend Australian Magazine.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – Larmandier-Bernier's NV Extra Brut Rosé de Saignee is one of the most profound wines I encountered in my tastings. The color resembles the tonality of blood orange juice. This is a powerful wine that flows onto the palate with an expression of bright red fruit that recalls the wines of Chambolle in its luxuriousness, but is backed up with serious structure. This compelling, totally seductive wine possesses awesome richness and vibrancy, with layers of aromas and flavors that continue to develop in the glass all the way through to the long, intensely satisfying finish. The wine could be served alongside any dish that might be served with grand cru Burgundy, but like all of the world's great wines, this is a bottle that creates its own occasion. Larmandier-Bernier completely redefines what Rosé can be all about with this monumental effort. The estate's Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir from Vertus vinified on the skins (saignee) and bottled with 3 grams of dosage.

World Wine – Vinous - "Tasting the 2019, I noticed that it has a slightly paler hue compared to recent vintages (though I never read too much into the colour of young Sauternes.) For certain, it has a highly-aromatic bouquet that is beguiling in purity, enticing aromas of honeysuckle and saffron, soon joined by camomile, white flowers and orange blossom. It has wonderful delineation and gains intensity with aeration. The palate is supremely well-balanced with fine bead of acidity. Very harmonious and armed with just the right amount of viscosity, this Yquem is surprisingly understated at first but gains presence, offering irresistible flavours of layers of honey, lemongrass, lemon thyme and orange pith. Yquem is so tempting in its youth, but I feel that this vintage will repay those with the nous to cellar for at least a decade." - Neal Martin, vinous.com, February 2022 (98 Points)

James Suckling – "This has a complex nose of baked blackberries, grilled plums, dried earth, moss, pine cones, sandalwood, charcoal and cloves. It’s medium-bodied with firm, tightly knit tannins. Wow. So much going on. Layered, seamless and silky. Incredible length. Keeps going. 42% cabernet sauvignon, 30% malbec and 28% cabernet franc. Try this from 2024." 98 points, James Suckling

World Wine – 'The best Cullity yet released. The palate is deep and powerful with controlled structure of chalky, slightly powdery fine tannins and fine-grained oak. There is a minerally almost sea spray lime character cutting through the dark fruits and chocolate richness. Compelling and just magnificent.' - 99 Points - Ray Jordan The West Australian, 10 May 2020

Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – The 2017 Velvet Glove Shiraz is reminiscent of a lush, chocolate-covered raspberry, a mouth-filling one imbued with a uniquely plush, supple texture and a lingering finish. There are hints of mint, pepper and anise to bring complexity and a slight savory-herbal edge, but much of this wine's considerable charm is in the way it feels in the mouth—caressing, expansive and complete.
