One of the great Chardonnay masters of the world, Pierre Morey's Domaine boasts landholdings in Burgundy’s most noble vineyards; farmed bio‐dynamically since 1997. Morey Blanc is the marketing and micro‐negociant arm, so named by the surname of Pierre Morey and his wife Christiane Blanc. The style and quality of the wines is a synthesis of the nervous complexity and funk of a Leflaive and shares similar underlying richness; the Morey wines evolve very gracefully indeed. Pierre Morey was the wine maker at Domaine Leflaive from 1989 until 2008; he is energized now that he can focus solely on his own Domaine.
