James Halliday – 15% whole bunches and 50% stem inclusion; matured 12 months in an old French oak foudre and 20% in mature oak puncheons. Primarily produced from 100+yo estate vines, it is a model of consistent style, quality and supreme value. Its balance is marvellous, appropriate for a wine that makes its statement of juicy red berries, Turkish delight and rose petals without fuss or fanfare.
