Founded by three Cambridge scientists and engineers with a passion for food and drink. One evening over a gin and tonic, they were talking about how molecular gastronomy has revolutionised taste combinations in food. This started them thinking about how to make better extracts from herbs, spices, fruit and vegetables. Linden Leaf spirits are crafted and tuned at the molecular level, allowing to isolate the most delicate notes from the finest ingredients whether wild, seasonal botanicals foraged from around Cambridgeshire, or rare spices sourced from the far side of the world, all rigorously certified organic.
#8 Gin is the perfect representation of the Linden Leaf approach. Eight carefully-selected botanicals include fresh Spanish makrut lime, fine Japanese yuzu & fresh Thai Lemongrass. The flavour and scent profile is led by lively kaffir lime and citrus zest, following through middle notes of juniper and watermelon and onto a base of warm orange flavours.
