Dense midnight black in colour with a very dark red black tinged hue. Elevated dark plum, liquorice and black cherry aromas emerge from the glass followed by vanillin oak, scorched earth and hints of pepper. Rich, thick and large scaled, the full bodied palate is awash with black plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits which are pitted against toasty vanillin oak and peppered earth elements. Opulent yet sturdy feel with slightly chewy tannins and a medium to long black fruited, toasty oak laden conclusion.
