The Wedding Crasher

Twice a year, we attempt to find a few crazy bargains for upcoming events that require 5-10+ cases of red and/or white of a certain worth. The wines have to please a vast array of movers and shakers (as in, on the dance floor) and I set a maximum ceiling of $16.99 per bottle. The wines are not for serious collectors, but that's not why we are here today. From a party/wedding party/large gathering/gift giving/ staff thanking perspective? That's where things get interesting indeed. The wines chosen for these cases are designed to glide over the palate and be at heart crowd and food friendly. The reds are reds are meaty and full bodied with lovely tannin tension and form. The whites are aromatic and rich and generally lightly oaked.
