Punt Road Pinot Gris 2017
Single-site Pinot Gris from Punt Road's Napoleone Vineyard, which features sandy loam on a clay base and has a northerly aspect. Winemaker Tim Shand aims for a wine with texture and harmony, with 20% fermented in old French hogsheads and pressings included in the blend to add a gentle phenolic bite. It's a slippery-textured Gris that is easy to drink and goes well with food. It's fresh and lively with crunchy nashi pear, lemon and a pinch of fresh ginger.
In a mixed or straight case: $20.89
