This non-fortified Vermouth is made with a base of 2006 Vernaccia di Oristano Riserva aged for 12 years in small, 90 year old Sardinian chestnut barrels. It is infused with a blend of forged Sardinian herbs, including elicriso, Desoleana sage, myrtle leaf, thyme, lentisk (mastic) & artemisia. Its aroma is a complex array of herbs like rosemary, bay leaf, and pine resins with a layer of honeyed walnut and apricot kernel with hints of a saline sea breeze. Intense, soft and round, this carries layered flavours of herbs and ripe honeyed stone fruit, with a lengthy and nutty finish. Enjoy as an aperitif over ice with a slice of orange, or use it in a Negroni or Americano.
