The wines of Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py are considered by Burgundy aficionados to be one of the regions stars and an estate that produces true vin de garde. The domaines work in the vineyard is meticulous and Dugat-Py has been certified organic since 2003 with approximately 7.5 hectares of vineyards predominately in Gevrey-Chambertin, including four of the Grand Crus and small holdings in Vosne-Romanee, Pommard, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault. Low intervention winemaking in the cellar with grapes picked relatively early, stems included and perfectly judged oak, result in wines that speak clearly of their appellation and age beautifully.
