Château La Dominique is located in the western part of the Saint-Emilion appellation, bordering Pomerol and enjoys an outstanding terroir as well as being neighbour to legends such as Château Cheval Blanc, Château Figeac, Château L'Evangile and Château La Conseillant.
The Domaine of La Dominique skillfully blends modernity and tradition with a high tech cellar which produces Merlot dominant reds enhanced with the addition of 16% Cabernet Franc and 3 % Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is however 100% Merlot.
La Dominique has a beautiful intense colour with a complex bouquet of black and red fruits with notes of liquorice and tobacco and benefits from aging for 16 months in predomiantly new oak barrels.
The ultimate partner for roast lamb, beef or duck.
