It's what the Taittinger Family drink before bed! Taittinger Nocturne is a 'Sec' Champagne made from 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The finished blend includes over 35 'crus' from several different harvests. The wine is aged on its lees for at least 4 years before being disgorged. It's pale yellow colour with a shimmering sparkle and its subtle, delicate nose reveal delicious aromas of white flowers and ripe fruit, notably yellow peaches and dried apricots. The flavour of raisins and fruit in syrup spread across the palate are also present, culminating in a beautiful nocturnal serenade of the senses...
