James Halliday – A minimally messed-with wine handled in a reductive protective fashion. Iodine black and blue fruits violet and charcuterie notes billow across a rail of sooty tannins with a smear of anise acress the finish. Full weighted and plush with an easy-going swagger and pulpy vibrancy. Best enjoyed on the cooler side.
