About this Wine

This is a refined and elegant Chardonnay. Full barrel fermentation with 66% new oak and 100% wild fermentation has resulted in a wine with great complexity and style. This wine has aromas of pineapple skin, peach cheeks and tangelo, with subtle hints of bergamot, honeysuckle and chamomile. Finishing with nutmeg, almond, praline and vanilla bean. Fleshy and generous with a taut acid line and moreish succulence.

Tasmanian Wine

The Tasmanian wine region is a cool climate region, the most southerly of all wine regions in Australia. Due to the lower temperatures, the area grows primarily Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, with smaller plantings of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon.
