This calvados from the 2002 vintage is a Pays d'Auge calvados, produced by double distillation in a copper still. It is aged in old calvados barrels and old Rivesaltes barrels. The nose is straightforward, showing apple and candied fruits with notes of light tobacco at the end of the glass. The palate is focused, with aromas of apple skin on the finish.
