Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and red currants tinged with earth are followed by vanillin cedar and dried herbs. Light to medium bodied, initial dark cherry and plum flavours are overwhelmed by vanillin cedar on the back palate with some earthy dried herb characters also apparent. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy vanillin cedar, dark cherries and earthy dried herbs.
