About this Wine

Vibrant floral and citrus notes lift the aroma, while richer developed characters such as ginger biscuit, cream, and almond are layered beneath. Fresh acid drives the palate and delivers a clean line and lingering aftertaste. there is plenty of body and texture to support this lean and racy style!

Planted in 2010, the Bonadale Vineyard is our highest and most sun-exposed site. Despite its sun exposure, the ripening season in this vineyard is elongated due to the consistent presence of cooling ocean breezes. Broadly speaking, this manifests fruit of elegance sophistication, and structure.

Tasmanian Wine

The Tasmanian wine region is a cool climate region, the most southerly of all wine regions in Australia. Due to the lower temperatures, the area grows primarily Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, with smaller plantings of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon.

More recent vintages since 2005 have been positively impacted by the effects of global warming. With slightly higher temperatures the grapes are ensured to ripen fully and produce more vibrant wine.
