We also have access to more than 5000 fine wines from around the world through our local supplier network. Sometimes a vintage changes, or our suppliers sell out of stock without us yet being able to push through a timely update on our website.

James Halliday – Fruit crushed into stainless steel fermenter, neutral yeast. Regular pump overs for colour and tannin extraction. Pressed into French barriques. Maturation in new and old French oak for 16 months. Old vines - from blocks planted in '68 and '70 - show how it's done with powerful, concentrated fruit qualities shining through. Cinnamon, cardamon, acacia, Italian espresso, panforte. Comes together nicely on the palate, but still a little taut.

Bimbadgen Shiraz 2018
2018 was the second consecutive classic vintage in the Hunter Valley, one we believe that will be recalled fondly in years ahead. A vintage typified by warm to hot and dry conditions, most white varieties were harvested by January prior to some record heat days in February. With little threat of rainfall, our Shiraz, Semillon and Chardonnay were harvested with the intent of expressing vineyard rather than vintage characteristics, resulting in energetic reds with a vitality that will last for a decades.
Colour: Dark purple hues
Nose: Lifted dark cherry, black brambly fruits and subtle oak spice
Palate: Concentrated dark berries packed around spicy oak, balanced by a fine line of acidity and silky tannins
