Cool climate classic Kreglinger, a very captivating, long, rich and balanced palate; sophisticated and beautifully defined creamy mousse (Cordon de Mousse) forming a necklace, with strings of pearl beads that provide both fine and lively texture to a crisp clean mouth feel. Freshly baked apple pastries melt in your mouth. The addition of our liqueur de dosage at disgorgement has added further richness and complexity to the already multi-layered palate. The finish is long and elegant with mineral quartz, nori and all with the maritime depth of seaside flavours, and a palate that leads to a crisp, dry, lingering finish.

James Halliday – Hand-picked in the early morning, whole-bunch pressed, cool-fermented in tank and barrel, then in traditional method in bottle. It is cruising along peacefully, its crisp acidity underpinning the richness developed during 9 years on yeast lees prior to disgorgement. Spice, dried and fresh fruits provide texture and flavour. James Halliday
World Wine – A complex style that contrasts the savoury complexity of charcuterie with the fleshiness of juicy stone fruits, the character of dried pear and the tension of vibrant citrus. A succulent generosity fills the mid-palate, with the biscuity complexity of barrel fermentation and lees age, culminating in the refreshing tension of Pipers River. It finishes long and full, with the generosity of a warm, dry and low-yielding season. Australian Sparkling Report 2017
