About this Wine

Mitchell Winery was established in 1975 by Jane and Andrew Mitchell. The entire range of Mitchell Wines receives multiple accolades every year. A unique blend of multiple vintages of Peppertree Vineyard Shiraz (often up to twenty years of age) that undergoes a secondary fermentation to provide the bubbles. This seductive wine is both fruity and earthy-mature, with spice and mulberry fruit flavours and a lingering soft foamy effervescence.

Dark brick red. Mature plummy shiraz varietal character with a touch of leathery maturity. A richness and fullness with a lingering peppery finish and perfectly balanced tannins. Christmas turkey or as an aperitif. Cellaring Potential Up to 10 years.
