The wine
is ruby red, which tends slightly to garnet red as it ages. Smell: fruity, intense, persistent, ethereal, tannic. Mineral, long-lasting, strongly tannic, great structure at the beginning, opulent on the palate and strong and tannic on the finish.
Winery
wine produced in limited quantities from vines from a plot of centuries-old and new plants in Passopisciaro.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins for 5 days in stainless steel tanks with frequent pumping over and beaten down. Refinement alternately in barriques with several phases and in steel barrels. Then 12 months of refinement in the bottle.
