This Pepper Tree Venator Shiraz 2022 is made for drinkers who like elegance as much as power.
Deep ruby in colour, it opens with dark cherry, blackberry and mulberry, laced with pepper, violets and subtle oak spice. The palate is medium‑bodied yet concentrated, layered with black fruits, liquorice and dark chocolate, supported by silky tannins, fresh acidity and a fine mineral thread that drives a long, refined, slightly earthy finish with hints of clove and graphite.
Venator Shiraz 2022 is superb with slow‑cooked lamb shoulder, grilled rib‑eye, smoky barbecued meats, mushroom dishes and aged cheddar, and will reward mid‑term cellaring while remaining very approachable on release.
