Pinot Noir (Pinot Nero or Blauburgunder) is one of the most appreciated and ambitious red wines. Pinot Noir does not adapt well to many conditions, and it represents a challenge both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Thanks to its delicate aroma and distinctive character, it enjoys great prestige. This Pinot Noir develops its full potential on the cool yet sunny vineyard sites of Eppan, yielding a full bodied and elegant wine.
St Michael Eppan Pinot Noir DOC is garnet-red in colour. The nose has aromas reminiscent of wild berries, raspberry and blackberry. The palate is compact, elegant & fruity-spicy.
