Deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Sappy sour cherry like aromas are followed by graphite, black olive, stalky notes and spice. Showing much more fruit generosity than the nose, the palate is layered with delicious ripe cherry and red liquorice flavours. Elements of spicy plum, scorched earth and spicy dried herbs emerge on the back half. Polished yet sturdy tannins compliment nicely balanced fresh acidity. Excellent depth with a long savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
