About this Wine

One of the pioneers of the region, Clive Paton was one of the first to plant grapes on the Martinborough Terrace in 1980 and the winery has since gone on to become a legend of the New Zealand wine industry. While world-famous for their exceptional Pinot Noir, Ata Rangi produce stunning wines across a range of varietals, including their Raranga Sauvignon Blanc.

This 2019 Ata Rangi Raranga Sauvignon Blanc offers complex nose of lemon curd, citrus blossom and white peach with spicy aromatics reminiscent of cinnamon apple pie. The texture that the on-skins and barrel fermentation components bring shows itself in a suppleness creaminess, which mingles with lemon zest notes and a tangy finish.
