The Richland series brings to the table reliable, approachable wines that consistently over-deliver. Calabria strive to capture the essence of the variety and include within the series traditional varieties and also wines made from interesting, newer varieties to Australia.
This Sauvignon Blanc is a light straw yellow with a green hue and displays a pungent nose of gooseberry, lemon and passionfruit. The palate is fruity, full bodied with a rich texture and is true to the variety with fresh garden peas and tropical fruits, including passionfruit, limes and mango. The finish is dry, crisp and refreshing with well-balanced acid and alcohol.
Pair with oysters, mussels, prawns, crab and lobster, sushi, tuna, strong cheeses, Asian stir fries with lemon grass and coriander, tomato, onion and garlic dishes.
