The Soave Classico Monopolio DOC by Vitevis is a wine that embodies the essence of Veneto particularly the Montecchio Maggiore area. Produced by the historic Cantina di Gambellara this wine pays homage to the indigenous Garganega variety. The winery founded in 1947 was the first cooperative winery in the province of Vicenza and specializes in the production of DOC wines such as Soave Gambellara and Lessini Durello. The wine presents itself with a golden color and shades of green. On the nose it offers a complex and mineral bouquet while on the palate it stands out for its savoriness and its soft round structure. The aging takes place exclusively in steel maintaining the integrity of the fruit and giving the wine enviable freshness. Ideal for an aperitif on a summer evening this Soave Classico pairs splendidly with seafood appetizers or fish-based dishes. It is also a wine that lends itself to moments of meditation perhaps while admiring a sunset over the Veneto hills.
