Com Tu is a project created by René Barbier with his son Anderson Barbier. Anderson, in love with the La Figuera area and its potential, decided to produce his first wine with his father and successfully enter the world of wine.
La Figuera is an area 100% dedicated to Grenache, both old and young vines. It is located at an altitude of 500-600 meters in a very cool area with rich calcareous, white and red clay soils.
The idea for the name Com Tu came from René’s son, artist Anderson Barbier Meyer, who, together with his mother, came up with the wine label. It is a tribute to all people, no matter what their skin color, gender, face or body, whether they have a disability or not, whether they are rich or not, whether they are educated or not. The name of the wine reminds us that we are all the same. In short, I am like you (Com tú), you are like me. On the label you will see two eyes, and in them a man and a woman, of different races, holding hands over their glasses. They need each other to keep their glasses from falling. The nose is Anderson Barbier Meyer’s signature.
Com tu is a wine made from 100% Grenache grapes, from a vineyard called Miramar, located in the very cool area of La Figuera, where the vines share the environment with apple trees, almonds.
Clos Mogador "Com Tu" 2021 delights with its complex aroma - ripe cherries, blackberries, herbs, soft spices and smoky notes prevail. The taste is rich but elegant, with soft tannins, excellent structure, and a long, expressive aftertaste. Aged for 18 months in 500 l oak barrels.

Wines of Spain

With 2.9 million acres of land planted in wine grapes, Spain is the most widely planted wine producing nation and second largest producer in the world. Many styles of wine are produced in the country most of which are based on native grape varietals.
The two most famous regions are Rioja and Ribera del Duero for their Tempranillo production. Rioja Tempranillo (the classic) will be lighter and fresher with red fruit flavours as compared to those from Ribera del Duero that are often deep purple, higher in alcohol with more tannins and intense black fruit character. Rioja is also known for producing Garnacha (Grenache), as well as rich, nutty whites from the indigenous Viura varietal.
In the Catalonia region, Spain is recognized for making a sparkling wine in the traditional method but using native grape varieties. This is called Cava. Priorat, a subregion within Catalonia specializes in making still red blends of Garnacha, Carignan and often Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon in a bold and full-bodied style. Together with Rioja, wines from Priorat have achieved DOCa/DOQ status signifying their quality.
Sherry is Spain’s famous fortified wine which can either be completely dry, lusciously sweet or somewhere in between. This is made in the southern region of Jerez.
Other notable Spanish wine styles include: Monastrell (AKA. Mataro/Mourvèdre), produced in the Jumilla region and refreshing white Albariño and Verdejo from north western Galacia.
