Manzone Barolo DOCG Castelleto 2011
Elegant and intense, with notes of raspberry, wild fruit and tobacco. Color: Ruby red with garnet notes of medium intensity. Taste: Warm, pleasant, with a good tannic balance, sapid. Food matches: With game, poultry and seasoned cheese.
Wine Spectator – Cherry, menthol and leather aromas and flavors vie with stiff tannins here, though this red remains lively and resonant on the lingering finish. Well-balanced overall, showing the dense, muscular side of Barolo. Best from 2019 through 2033.
In a mixed or straight case: $117.79
