World Wine – From Santa Maria Valley in Santa Barbara County, California, this pinot is very new-world with its complete bouquet of oak, spice, blue and red fruit berries, and a touch of cinnamon. It has a generously sized palate, the front of which has a distinct bubble of berry fruit showing some elements of its ripeness and alcohol. That said, the flavours remain cool, and in the blue fruit spectrum. It has lovely weight, a complex palate of fruit and spice, and finishes with good length and sufficient vif to round it all up and satisfy. If you like the best NZ pinot you will enjoy this. Really good value.
