Established in 1909 and famed for its historical contributions to the sparkling wine industry, CFGV is the parent company of renowned labels such as Charles Volner, Opera, Veuve Amiot, and Muscador. The cellar master at CFGV uses his extensive expertise to craft Pierre Deville, which is a delightful blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier.
This sparkling wine undergoes an extended period of ageing on its sedimentary yeast lees, which imparts complexity and richness to the wine, while still maintaining a refreshingly dry and crisp finish. The result is a wine that offers creamy texture balanced by a clean, effervescent crispness.
The wine presents a pale gold color with a fine, persistent bead, inviting you to enjoy its vibrant aromas. Fresh fruity notes of stone fruit, citrus, and melon dominate, while delicate hints of nuttiness, lemon, and light florals add to the wine’s complexity.
