About This Wine
The colour is deep and purple edged, the aroma is an amalgam of black currant Cabernet, spicy anise Shiraz and the earthy, smokey terroir character of the Whalebone Vineyard. The core of the wine is sweet but the finish is of gentle savoury tannin. This wine is a pure expression of the unique Whalebone Vineyard terroir.

World Wine – Cellarable? I definitely think so. It’s bold, tannic, thick with tar and plum flavours, and has integrated its smoky/cedary oak quite perfectly. Nothing sticks out; it’s a bold red wine with its foundations of tannin well in place, and nothing much stands between it and the future.
