Beautifully aromatic and fragrant with lifted spicy fruit characters, dark ripe plum and an attractive hint of liquorice and star anise adding complexity. Well flavoured with loads of vibrant fruit characters, this wine is very approachable now while also having the structure to reward cellaring. The delicious, spicy dark plum fruit flavours are well integrated after its careful oak handling, all adding to its complexity and depth. Well balanced, the touch of astringency and lightly drying tannins add length to the palate and provides its good finish; enjoy now with many foods or after a few years bottle age.
