Follow the Coal River just 3 km north from the picturesque sandstone village of Richmond in southern Tasmania and you come to Storm Bay Vineyards where the ancient tertiary clays and limestone coupled with long, slow ripening produce wines with finesse and elegance perfectly representative of Tasmania’s cool maritime climate.
Lovely citrus flavours, ripe stone fruit and citrus notes on the palate followed by a natural freshness and bright acid on the finish. Cool ferment with additional time on lees in tank, building complexity, good palate weight and textures.
