Huon Hooke – 96 POINTS - The Real Review, Stuart Knox "Ultra-pale lemon and lime hues. Fragrant and lifted, lime curd, pear, peach skin and gardenia all on display. An amazing palate with suppleness and texture on full display. Off-dry so the fruit is accentuated but there's still an underlining saline minerality that brings balance and intrigue. As it flows to an incredibly long finish the well masked acidity ensures clarity whilst a subtle fuzz of phenolic grip ensures the finale is balanced and more-ish. Fantastic to drink now but will also develop amazingly well over time."

Rieslingfreak No.5 Clare Valley Off Dry Riesling 2024
Rieslingfreak No.5, like No.3 is made from the family vineyard, but with the grapes harvested from a vineyard with lighter soils therefore providing a lighter style of wine.
The grapes are harvested earlier in the season, to provide a wine that is slightly less in alcohol. Being ‘off dry’ the sugar level can vary each vintage, pending on the season, normally between 11-15g/L. The sugar is balanced nicely with the acid, providing a fruit driven style with a hint of sweetness. The wine drinks well on release, or will reward with cellaring.
