Typically restrained for a young “Merle” displaying pristine aromas of lime lemon and stone fruits along with a hint of wet slate and talc. Again restrained / subtle with the citrus characters the main drivers but once the acid kicks in the whole thing livens up and the textural / talc elements of the palate are apparent. It displays great length of flavour and a pureness that typifies this vineyard.
