You may know the McPherson family as the makers of our hugely popular Full Fifteen and other blockbuster Australian reds. But their head winemaker, Jo Nash, also has a deft touch with rosé—and her talent is on full display with McPherson Family Series Lucie’s Promise Grenache Rosé.
Named in honor of proprietor Andrew McPherson’s granddaughter, ‘Lucie’s Promise’ represents the promise of the next winemaking generation and the strength of the family history she inherits. Jo crafted it with perfectly ripe Grenache grapes, sourced from her favorite vineyard sites across South Eastern Australia, and it’s deliciously fresh.
Look forward to a beautiful salmon pink color in the glass, leading to perfumed red fruit and floral aromas. The crisp, dry palate offers layers of vibrant raspberry and strawberry, plus subtle mint notes that remind Jo of Lucie’s beloved garden.
This is the perfect pink to enjoy at a family barbecue, tote along to a picnic or sip when you’re relaxing in your own garden. But, as with all our world-class rosé, it’s sure to sell fast—hurry for your share.
