From the excellent 2021 season, the fruit was hand-picked from our estate plantings and fermented by indigenous yeasts. It is a full flavoured cabernet wine with a vibrant blackberry colour. While excellent drinking now, it will reward cellaring for ten years or so.
Tasting Notes Colour: Dense, blackberry with crimson edges Bouquet: Blackberry with licorice, black olive, cigar box and spicy French oak Flavour: Blackberry with licorice, black olive, truffles and cedary French oak Texture: Fine tannins with good mineral acidity and a long, intense palate
