A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine – fermentation on skins with twice daily pump-overs for three weeks followed by 15-month maturation in 225 litre French oak barrels.
A warm dry early season with ideal flowering conditions has resulted in excellent crops and strong varietal flavours.
