With a beautiful garnet hue, on the nose you find freshly picked cherries, cranberries, floral notes of violet and rose. A bit savory with oregano, and sweet basil leaves, as well as hints of black pepper, cinnamon, and clove. This wine is fresh and alive, and always gives the feeling of biting into a crunchy berry. Meant to be drunk young and chilled, although I think this wine will age in such an interesting way if I could ever wait that long. Vineyard Notes This almost 2 acre block was planted in 2014 by a happy accident. Though initially we planned on planting mourvedré, our graciano has found a comfortable home in the slightly acidic soils of the Right Left vineyard. Food Pairing Pair with fresh green salads and goat cheese, pasta salads, roasted chicken, or a pool floatie.
