Aromas of freshly zested Tahitian lime and white flowers combined with mandarin peel. The palate shows kaffir lime fruit and lemon sorbet supported with a chalky texture along the palate. Fine-boned, slatey mineral acid pulls the structure together to produce a wine with balance and delicacy.

The Wine Front – The 2016 harvest was allegedly very good for Drumborg Vineyard. There was good volume and high quality, off the back of a relatively warmish ripening season. About 60% of the blend comes from a block planted 1964. Scintillating wine. Crystalline in texture, delicate, threaded through the eye of a needle style, but intense, frisky in its course across the palate, so limey-zesty and fresh, mineral charged and breathtaking. Touch of savouriness rides the finish, as does the juicy pool of citrus that finishes the wine. An excellent release, once more.
