About This Wine
Destemmed and pressed directly to tank for ferment. Wild ferment completed very quickly, but the wine remained on gross lees for a further 3.5 months. Racked in mid July with an addition of sulfur.
Passed through a course filtration in early August to remove some cloudiness before bottling on August 25th.
92 - The Real Review "A very pale rose-gold colour. Strawberry and crushed flower petals on the nose. Palate brings a smoky undertone to the bright red berries through the core with a hint of tannins also adding tension. Good length and very dry to the end. It will work very well with lighter foods.
