We also have access to more than 5000 fine wines from around the world through our local supplier network. Sometimes a vintage changes, or our suppliers sell out of stock without us yet being able to push through a timely update on our website.

If you would like to confirm stock levels before placing your order, please contact us here. Alternatively, if products are unavailable you will be informed in a reasonable time and we will process a refund/replacement for you.

James Halliday – Wild ferment, 23 days on skins, pressed to old French oak, mostly 500L puncheons. This wine does not go quietly. It puts savouriness on the front foot, its back end firmly planted in blueberry and plum goodness. At no point would you call the wine wimpy. It's just that there are so many leaf and sweet spice and mezcal and graphite and walnut and pepper characters swirling about here, and it's these aspects that define it. Delivery Times

To be able to supply such a unique & extensive range of boutique wines, we don't hold much of the inventory. So with us, there is the added step of receiving the wine from our local suppliers before it is dispatched to you. Most orders are dispatched within 3-6 working days.

Returns and Warranty

Replacement or refund offered if bottles are faulty or damaged. All our deliveries are insured against loss, however you must notify us in a reasonable amount of time.

About this Wine

The Westgate vineyard in the Grampians is renowned for making some tip-top wines, and this is no exception. It’s ripe and juicy, coming across like strawberry topping after opening, with a burst of raspberry, blackberry, pepper, plum, spice and clove. Like the Meunier, it turns more savoury after some air time, but the fruit never leaves, instead singing at a higher pitch if drunk with some food (I had Hungarian goulash). Despite the 14.5% alcohol, there’s enough acidity and tannin to keep everything balanced.
