Castel Firmian Lagrein 2024 is an elegant and expressive Trentino DOC red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy, produced by Mezzacorona from 100% Lagrein, one of northern Italy's most celebrated indigenous grape varieties. Sourced from sun-drenched hillside vineyards in Trentino, this wine combines rich dark fruit, floral aromatics and velvety tannins in a beautifully balanced expression of Alpine terroir.
Deep ruby red in colour, the wine offers inviting aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and ripe wild berries, complemented by violet, eucalyptus, black pepper and subtle notes of dark chocolate and vanilla from oak ageing. The palate is full-bodied yet refined, with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a long, savoury finish.
