About this Wine
Chateau Marquis d'Alesme 2016, a wine of character
Displaying greater density than usual (except for the 2010 vintage) the Marquis d’Alesme (Becker) 2016 is a Margaux with a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc.

Concentrated at an aromatic level, the nose of this Margaux is not lacking in deliciousness or expression: perfumes of black cherry, mint chocolate and balsamic cedar appear. It is refreshing and delicious without expressing too much at this stage. The Chateau Marquis d'Alesme 2016 offers a wide palate with weight on tightly structured tannins, elegant and of considerable density. The retro-olfaction is at this stage more or less fruity, a fruit masked for the moment by a great concentration. Altogether this is a serious wine, not lacking in character or depth. The Marquis of Alesme 2016 has great aging potential but will otherwise be nice to consume soon enough.
