Although the sugar levels did not reach those of 1999, the richness of the phenolic compounds was extraordinary. The quality of the fruit, combined with ripe tannins and sufficient acidity produced an incredible long-lasting Margaux. The 2000 vintage shines through its classicism. It is rich and dense with a powerful and complex nose. Its taste is immediately impressive. We are talking about a powerful Château Palmer with exceptional aging qualities.
