Malbec has had a home in the Clare Valley for some years and shines when blended with Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a classic example of the style – lots of Cabernet varietal cassis and menthol, tempered by the juicy generosity of the Malbec that fills out the mid palate and softens tannins.
