The nose remains remarkably fresh for an Armagnac of this age. The first scent offers matured fruit flavors of quince and apple, while the second scent reveals dried fruits such as walnuts and almonds. On the palate, the balance is flawless, a testament to the precise aging process. The finish is long-lasting and the tannins are of the highest quality.
One of our favorite Negociants in the Armagnac world is Francis Darroze. His specialty is purchasing brandy from small, scattered producers in Gascony and finishing them in his cellars.
