On the palate, the Feudo Arancio Rosso Riserva Sicilia from Mezzacorona opens pleasantly dry, firm, and aromatic. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily ultimately impresses with a remarkable length.
The balanced Feudo Arancio Rosso Riserva Sicilia from Italy is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Nero d'Avola grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the elegant Feudo Arancio Rosso Riserva Sicilia is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
Enjoy this red wine from Italy best at a temperature of 15–18°C as an accompaniment to boeuf bourguignon, lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs, or boiled veal shoulder with beans and tomatoes.
