Gaja Sito Moresco 2023 is an elegant and approachable Langhe red from the legendary Angelo Gaja estate. First created to showcase younger vineyard parcels and fruit not destined for Gaja's single-vineyard wines, Sito Moresco has evolved into one of Piedmont's benchmark premium blends. The name translates to "Moresco's Site," referring to a former owner of one of the estate's vineyards.

The 2023 vintage displays vibrant aromas of black cherry, red plum, blackberry, violet, rose petals, and sweet spice, layered with subtle notes of cedar, graphite, and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is silky and refined, combining the perfume and structure of Nebbiolo with the generosity of Merlot and the depth of Cabernet Sauvignon. Fine tannins, fresh acidity, and beautifully integrated oak create a wine that is both approachable in its youth and capable of developing additional complexity with cellaring.

The finish is long and polished, showing notes of dark berries, licorice, spice, and mineral freshness.
